BEGINNING FLY TYING

Let experienced instructor John Van Dalen introduce you to the fun of fly tying. Each of the five two-hour sessions will feature two different fly patterns that you will tie yourself on the tools and materials provided. These flies have been chosen not only for their effectiveness in producing fish, but also to illustrate a series of techniques that will progressively build your skills as a tyer. Instruction is geared for beginning through intermediate tyers. All tools and materials are provided by the shop, but feel free to bring your own stuff if you prefer. Cost for the five week course is $75. Please register in the shop or by phone, as class size is limited to provide for lots of individual attention.

WINTER 2008 1st SESSION runs every Wednesday evening from 6 PM-8 PM
