MONTANA TROUT SAMPLER 2010
AUGUST 1-8, 2010
Montana's
Missouri River and Paradise Valley are our destinations for the 2010
Trout Sampler...why not clear your schedule and
join us? We have secured a gorgeous house on the
banks of the Missouri River near Craig as
our base of operations for the first four nights,
with a move to a secluded lodge with breathtaking
mountain views outside Livingston for the last
part of the week. You will be fishing the Missouri
with some of the area's finest guides, and then
explore the waters of
the Paradise Valley on your own, including the
Boulder River and Mill Creek. You will also
have easy access
to the world famous spring creeks outside
Livingston.
Our
schedule is pretty rough. We fly into
Bozeman, Montana on Sunday, arriving early
enough to allow for some afternoon and evening
fishing. Little Forks
Outfitters provides transportation for everyone to the
appropriately named Mountain Palace on the
Missouri as part
of the cost of the package. Everything about
the Mountain Palace is luxurious, including the
awesome dry fly flat right outside the back door.
You will love the meals laid out by our caterer.
All three of days fishing the Missouri you will guided
by the experts from Headhunters in Craig. The
three days outside Livingston will be left for you to explore. The
spring creeks are available on a reservation
basis (let us know if you are interested and we
will set it up in advance for you) and require an additional rod fee not
covered in the cost of the package. A fine breakfast will be
shared by the group each day, a shore lunch will
be provided by the guides or supplied to you in
the morning, and an excellent dinner
will cap off each day. After dinner tie flies, or
tell the rest of the guys about your day.
You probably won't even have to exaggerate!

TURNEFFE
FLATS, BELIZE
Anybody’s list of
great places to be in February should
include Belize right at the top of the
list…85-95 degree weather every day, running
around in sandals and shorts, enjoying the
relaxed pace of life on the cays…sure beats
shoveling snow! We will be returning again
this coming year to our favorite spot in the
Caribbean, Turneffe Flats. The
accommodations and staff are truly superb at
this world-class fly angling destination.
Last year’s trip saw excellent fishing for
permit on the fly, as well as
consistently
good bonefish opportunities. But don’t think
you need to be a fly fisherman to enjoy
yourself, as there are plenty of activities
available for the non-angler. If you think
you might be interested in accompanying us
this year, contact Bo Brines at the shop and
he will get a copy of the video tape to
check out, as well as a free brochure. You
can also visit Turneffe’s website (www.tflats.com)
for more information.

If our scheduled
trip doesn’t fit into your schedule, let us
know, and we can book a week for you at
Turneffe Flats whenever you like,
availability permitting.
